Laser Scanning
Our laser scanning services capture detailed 3D data of building interiors and exteriors with millimeter-level precision. Using advanced LiDAR equipment, such as the Leica RTC360, we generate high-density point clouds that document every architectural feature. This provides a reliable digital replica of the physical space, ideal for renovation, retrofitting, or structural analysis.
The scanning process is efficient and non-intrusive, allowing us to survey large structures in a fraction of the time it would take with traditional methods. Whether it's a commercial facility, residence, or industrial site, our laser scans serve as a critical foundation for precise documentation and planning.
From construction teams to architects, stakeholders benefit from the ability to visualize and measure existing conditions in 3D. This eliminates guesswork, reduces RFIs, and improves communication across the project lifecycle.
Building Modeling
Once scanning is complete, we convert the point cloud data into accurate and usable models. Our Revit and CAD-based deliverables include basic architectural features such as walls, doors, windows, and room layouts, produced to LOD 200 or LOD 300 depending on your needs. This modeling process is perfect for architects needing as-built conditions or designers working within tight coordination timelines.
We focus on clean, editable files that plug seamlessly into your existing workflows. The models support clash detection, renovation planning, and documentation tasks while reducing field verification trips. Our team ensures each model accurately and intuitively reflects the site.
The result is a highly functional digital asset that your design team can trust. You’ll save time, avoid costly revisions, and build on a foundation of spatial accuracy.
Aerial Mapping & Imaging
Our drone-based mapping services are designed to capture high-resolution aerial imagery and terrain data across a wide range of sites. Using drones equipped with RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning, we generate accurate orthophotos and elevation models that are ideal for preliminary planning, visualization, and documentation of hard-to-reach areas.
This technology is especially valuable in environments with dense vegetation or unsafe access, where traditional methods are slow or impractical. We provide clients with georeferenced aerial imagery, digital surface models, and site overviews that integrate into CAD, GIS, or construction workflows.
While we do not offer legal boundary surveys, our data can support civil engineers, architects, and licensed surveyors by providing a fast, cost-effective overview of site conditions to streamline early-phase project decisions.
About Us
Founded in 2025, Precision Laser and LiDAR was created to bring modern solutions to long-standing inefficiencies in the building and design process. Our founder, Peyton Hebert, holds a degree in Engineering and Technology Management and began his career in the construction industry.
After witnessing the constant back-and-forth of RFIs between architects and field teams, Peyton recognized a critical gap: the need for accurate, on-demand site data to improve collaboration and reduce costly delays. This inspired a mission to bridge the divide between field conditions and design teams — using cutting-edge laser scanning, LiDAR, and 3D modeling to deliver clarity where it's needed most.
To strengthen that mission, Peyton teamed up with Eric Burson of First Responders Accident Reconstruction, leveraging Eric’s extensive field experience and forensic precision. This collaboration combines construction insight with expert-level spatial documentation, ensuring our clients benefit from the highest standards of technical accuracy, responsiveness, and innovation.
Our
brand vision
Integrating laser scanning into your design process transforms the way you plan, document, and execute projects. It accelerates workflows, eliminates guesswork with precise measurement data, and empowers your design team to respond rapidly to field RFIs. Adopting this technology now positions your firm at the forefront of innovation in a tech-driven industry.
Additional Applications:
Construction Progress Monitoring
Capture scans at key construction milestones to verify that built conditions align with design intent (e.g., open wall inspections).Drone Documentation
Use drone imagery throughout the project lifecycle for powerful marketing visuals and accurate project documentation.Accurate As-Builts & Floor Plans
Produce reliable, updated plans for existing buildings—critical for renovations, ownership changes, or code compliance.
